Spring Vegetables Hit the Market in Shangri-La Plateau

Spring vegetables from the Shangri‑La plateau are hitting the markets one after another. Stalls are filled with seasonal fresh produce such as Chinese toon shoots, fiddlehead ferns, and potatoes. Grown thanks to the high‑altitude ecological advantages, these seasonal vegetables are fresh, crisp and tender, making them a limited spring delicacy in local residents’shopping baskets.
